I was at my uncle's house in St.Amant working in the house, and moving stuff out. He and his wife have been working on his house for 3 weeks now with only the help of my parents, and myself. As everyone down the road is working on their own house. The others had help. This guy showed up in a yellow shirt from this church. He lives in Prairieville, and within an hour had about 15 people show up and help us out for 4 or 5 hours. It brought tears to our eyes after they left. They came from Georgia, and helped my uncle. I don't know the words to describe what this meant. Thank you!

The most peaceful place in Baton Rouge. You need to be a member to attend but you will love it.

Set back on the lot behind the LDS Sunday Meetinghouse, the Baton Rouge Temple provides a quite area for thinking and contemplation. The grounds are small but well maintained, and the white marble exterior is beautiful.

Be sure to call ahead to make appointments for any ordinance you would like to participate in. Even endowment sessions will need advance registration
